ITS OFFICIAL....THE HUNNS ARE COMING TO ATLANTA.... I just got word from their publicity company today along with the full schedule with confirmed venues the Old Skars & Upstarts Tour 2005 will be hitting. The Kings of Nuthin', The Black Halos, and The Angel City Outcasts will be playing the tour with them. Now we gotta find a place in Atlanta for Duane to skate. [more inside]

sHEAVY is the SHIT. I somehow came across this incredible advance of REPUBLIC?, the upcoming release of the band that if Ozzy's wife had any balls would have headlining every Ozzfest from here on out..."bmfgroupie" shared sHEAVY with me 2 or 3 years ago and from the first time we listened to them we loved them. Forget the generalization of "Stoner Rock"...these guys re-define it. I can't help but begin this rant without praising the incredible sound that Steve Hennesy emits from the mic. What we have here is an equilivant of Ozzy that can actually sing...and change tones with ease...that is not to any way diss the ozz man...i've seen him lots and he can fucking sing....the ozzy way...ozzy is in a catorgy by himself..nobody will ever sound lke ozzy....but.. Die Hunns, The Kings of Nuthin, The Black Halos and The Angel City Outcasts will be playing in the Old Skars & Upstarts 2005 Tour. I heard from a good source that they will be playing in at the Masquerade here in Atlanta. I've been begging the Hunns on their message board for over a year now to please please come to Atlanta. Finally a concert worth seeing in Atlanta besides when The Unsatisfied play here.

The Hunns are finally coming to Atlanta!! I'm not sure where yet but the tour poster says September 25th. More when I find out more.

Dinosaur Junior!!
After... what is it now? 15 years of waiting... I am finally going to see Dinosaur Jr.* tomorrow evening at the Central Park Summerstage. I can't believe how excited I am to see them. Everything indicates it will be incredible. Check out this version of "The Lung" that the boys played on the Late Late Show earlier in the year.

Nashville Pussy will release "Get Some" on Steamhammer/SPV records. Didn't they sign with someone else a few months back? Anyway the new album is produced by was produced by Daniel Rey (Ramones, etc.) and mixed by Glen Robinson.
