+| Drugs: Why not fill yourself with something that can give you a fake sense of security, confidence, or superiority? I mean as long as you are happy, who cares what other people think? Remember, it is all in your mind. No matter what they say, where they lock you up, in the end it will be your fault, and your fault only. If you are winning in your mind, you could be burning to death with maggots eating at your skin, and you could still feel as if you've accomplished something. Get a drug habit and die.

The Beastie Boys new CD has copy protection software that self install on your computer after inserting it. Weren't we just talking about this on another post?

This from Carbon 14 Magazine page 13 by Jeff Dahl... "Here's more proof that the bands of today have run outof any and all ideas. The utterly horrible horrible Third Eye Blind have used Mott the Hoople's unused original Mick Rock cover photo for All the Young Dudes on their latest pile of shit, Out of Vein. Graphic illustration (pun intended) of their complete lack of originality."
Jeff has a page where he talks about cool rock and roll shit. Go get a copy of Carbon 14 and be sure to visit Jeff at THE DAHLHAUS

Santana slams "corny ass" white people... Pioneering Latin-rock guitarist Carlos Santana has slammed Ozzy Osbourne as one of "corny-ass white people" while reprimanding the American media for failing to give due credit to jazz artist Elvin Jones who died recently.Jones' death passed unnoticed without even a mention in the papers, something which Santana believes is due to the racist attitude of the press.
"For them to play up Ozzy Osbourne and other corny-ass white people, but not Elvin, is demeaning and I'm really embarrassed to live in this country," he added.

Wanna hear something COOL AS HELL.... Go get a 12" copy of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's - EP. Cue up and second song on side two (the one with no writing) which is "Our Time" but play it on 33RPM speed instead of 45RPM. Taking one 500mg Vicadin or big ol' bong hit will only enhance the effect. Or so I hear.

Not everyone agrees with us about Lallapalooza- Someone emailed us this morning with the following comments about our Lalapalooza review...

u must not know shit about lallapalooza, all your doin is ragging on all the bands that were there on your little ad because you say it's pop and not rock. oh but you said queens of the stoneage was the only "real" rock band there when their lead lead singer sings like a girl and they lull you to sleep with the most boring music. you said the first couple of yrs. for lallapalooza was good but now it's bad and you also said that you left before jane's addiction came on b/c you knew it would be bad. you stuck your foot in your mouth because jane's addiction is the only band from the original lallapalooza left on the tour. make sure you know what ur talkin about before you post it on the net. oh and if you stayed for audioslave, you probly saw the best performance by a rock band you'll ever see.

Ever wonder why you hear the same song every hour on the radio.... its cause big labels buy up blocks of time from the big stations so they can play their latest hand picked/creation over and over and fucking over.....and they wonder why we download music looking for something unique?...what the hell.
