Zeke will appear on a nationally run Jones Soda label that will be available in stores this December. The Jones Soda Company, who are known for their music-friendly marketing, choose ZEKE to appear on the "Fufu Berry Soda" label. What the FUCK? All bands turning fufu fuckers?

Detroit Cobras sign to Bloodshot Records and release 'Baby'. They will also be playing at the Earl in East Atlanta on October 19th. Wow that's 3 shows in one week I want to go to. Hopefully we will pick up a copy of the cd at the show. Maybe I can take my 'rare' (we'll see how rare) Detroit Cobras LP to have signed by the band.

The Sex Pistols will be those to be added to Britain's equivalent to Hollywoods Walk of Fame ITV1's Avenue of the Stars.

The Old Skars & Upstarts Atlanta date has been cancelled according to their manager. He told me that the ESPN skatepard in Lawernceville, GA has been shut down and that they also found out that Pennywise are playing on the same date as they were planning on playing. They are still trying to find a venue but it doesn't look good. GODDAMMMMMMMMIT.

The Bloody Hollies live up to their cool ass name with blistering vocals and guitars that eXplode just like they should from a band with a name like this. I hear they have really struck a chord lately with their latest release "If Footmen Tire You" out now on Alive Records. Pick it up from Bomps website. They don't fuck around as the opening track "Watch Your Head" will nail you with an explosion of vocals and guitar that seem to ring true with all the songs on this release. By the time "Gasoline" comes up you kind of gotta take a breath. "Right between the eyes" was meant to be played loud driving very fast in the car of your choice. If I had my choice I'd be toolin' around in a old Trans Am with the Bloody Hollies thumping out of the windows. This is fucking rock and roll the way we like it here at MusicFilter...the real deal. The Hunns have signed to Volcom Entertainment to release their fifth studio album due in summer of 2006. The Hunns are currently headlining the Old Skars & Upstarts tour which will be hitting Atlanta in a few weeks. Look for a full review and photos of the show right here.

Peters, The 2005 Old Skars and Upstarts Tour will circle the entire
U.S. this fall, hitting every major market in its path. The skate punk
rock tour will be hitting skateparks, backyard pools and nightclubs all
across America! Corey Parks and Duane Peter's band Die Hunns and a four
band plus bill will headline each show. Local skate bands will be
playing at select shows and mini-festivals are planned for Chicago, New
York, Austin and Los Angeles.
