The surviving members of The Doors have supposedly approached Perry Farrell to record some material with them on a new album. Whether or not that actually happens only time will tell but in the meantime Perry will be performing a couple of songs with them at the VH1 taping of Decades: The Doors, at the Taj Mahai in Atlantic City in August. This news comes on the heels of the report that Perry will be producing and possibly including a recently unearthed Jim Morrison track "Woman in the Window" for Satellite Party.

Duane Peters is not feautured in Lords of Dogtown. Rich Kane of the OC Weekly has this to say "Duane Peters is absent from Dogtown because of geography; he was born and raised in OC. But he was just as influential in skateboarding perhaps the most influential skater ever. Who Cares? The Duane Peters Story is a remedy." [more inside]

The Master of Disaster is back once again with a punk rock and roll treat called 'Duane Peters Gunfight'. It seems Duane can't stand to not be playin' rock and roll every wakin' minute so while the Hunns are taken a break, he put together a six piece band that has various members from the Exploding Fuck Dolls, Ultravires, Spent Idols, The Sleepers, Black Lab, and The Masons. Impressive indeed but even more cool is the wall of punk rock sound these guys create once they plug in and Duane grabs the mic. No emo weemo horseshit here, just straight ahead punk rock like it was meant to be played: loud, fast, hard and in your fuckin' face. [more inside]
