The Sex Pistols song New York... was directed at Johnny Thunders calling him an "Imitation of New York" and Thunders coming back calling the Pistols "puppets" with "London Boys". The irony here is not only the songs themselves but the fact that Steve Jones and Paul Cook actually played on "London Boys". I love punk rock history.
