Iggy Pop has confirmed that the original Stooges will release an all new record next year with a tour to follow. They have been in the studio with Steve Albini and Jack White.

Metal Sludge is reporting that Guns and Roses are in rehearsals for a reuinion tour and that an anouncement that Velvet Revolver will soon break up. I’m doubtful this is even close to true but it’s a nice hope. They also report that The Cult will be the opening band on the tour.
