The New York Dolls played “Dance Like a Monkey” on Conan thursday night. See photos of the performance here. They band played good, Johanson seemed kind of ho hum to me. Syl Sylvain played and looked great playing guitar. They will also be playing on Henry Rollins show tonight on IFC channel.

I found this on John Lydon’s site just browsing ’round. It was from the Alice Cooper Box Set “The Life and Crimes of Alice Cooper” in 1999. John is a huge fan of Alice’s and wrote the liner notes in the box set. Read them here.

The 30th aniversary of the Sex Pistols original demos titled “Spunk” will have it’s first Re-release on both CD and Vinyl. The one and in my mind only Sex Pistols authority, “God Save the Sex Pistols” has some good info on the upcoming release and clips of each song here.
Glen Matlock was the guest on Anthony Wilson’s radio show this afternoon on XFM Manchester. During the two hour show Glen chose songs and discussed the Sex Pistols and his own musical influences. Read exerts and see photos here.
