The New York Dolls played “Dance Like a Monkey” on Conan thursday night. See photos of the performance here. They band played good, Johanson seemed kind of ho hum to me. Syl Sylvain played and looked great playing guitar. They will also be playing on Henry Rollins show tonight on IFC channel.

According to this video in which the president talks about what is on his iPod..he has songs that are not available on iTunes as a legal download (the Beatles) so it must be ripped music which the RIAA deemed illegal last February.
Pearl Jam will appear on David Letterman on May 4th and will be on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Maybe we can stay up late tomorrow night and catch that.
