Sex Pistols release statement to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The Sex Pistols have released an official statement to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in response to the bands induction in the rock museum. Read the official letter here. This is the best thing to happen in music that I’ve seen for a long time. A nice reminder of why the Pistols remain the most exciting and important thing to happen to Rock and Roll since Elvis Presley.

Fame at $25,000 if we paid for a table or $15,000 to squeak up in the gallery, goes to a non-profit organization selling us a load of old famous. Congradulations. If you voted for us, I hope you noted your reasons. Your anonymous as judges. but your still music industry people. Were not coming. Your not paying attention. Outside the shit-stem is a real SEX PISTOL.”
